Dear Colleagues:

The National Center for Animal and Plant Health (CENSA) is pleased to invite you to participate in the IV International Seminar on Animal and Plant Health (SISA 2023), to be held in Varadero, Cuba, from May 8th - 12th, 2023, focusing on the topic "Science and Innovation for One Health". 

The Seminar will provide a framework to discuss approaches, strategies and results of cross-sector and multidisciplinary collaboration, at different involvement scales and from communities, in addressing the problems resulting from the increasing human, animal and plant interaction with the overall ecosystem, which threaten the optimal health of all, the sustainability of the agri-food sector and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

From the perspective of One Health, alternatives for mitigation and resilience development will be presented in the face of complex challenges that threaten the health of the ecosystem, plants, animals and people in a transversal way. Important meetings, an innovation session, a business round and an associated exhibition (face-to-face and virtual) will be held. It will have the participation of researchers, professors, specialists, students, decision-makers, businessmen and producers from different sectors, disciplines and countries.
